Fix Player is a small but useful application that allows you to easily watch AVI videos, but its main function is to repair them. You can open video files from your local computer, after selecting a video you can decide to watch or repair them. Also you can open videos from a remote location by entering the file's URL. The only disadvantage is that only AVI formats are supported. It includes the regular controls to play a video (play, pause, stop, mute, backward, forward, and volume) plus the function of playing the video frame by frame. You can use different sizes to watch a video: by reducing the window with the mouse or by using any of the predefined sizes (half, three-quarter, normal, double, and full size). It also includes a function that allows you to increase, decrease, half or double the playback rate (the rate of both sound and video are modified). The time the program takes to repair a video file depends on its size and the errors encountered. The program checks for errors and problems in the file and its index. It skips the detected bad frames and allows you to save the output video in the location of your preference. If you try to repair a video that doesn't need to be repaired the program might crash.
